Listen up, because I’m only going to say this once, and I’m saying it because I actually care about you: you are not a superhero, well, I mean…you kinda are. But that’s besides the point.

I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with putting your loved one first. Honestly, I think its beautiful. But let’s get real for a second. You are currently running on fumes, and eventually, the engine is going to just crap out.

When you skip that doctor’s appointment, ignore that persistent ache in your back, or convince yourself that you “don’t have time” for a shower, you aren’t being a hero. You’re just being reckless with the only body God gave ya.

You can’t pour from
